The rumors of the possible trade of Tomas Plekanec have taken up most of the discussion the past few days despite several other interesting stories being circulated.

Analysts from both Sportsnet and TSN have fired shots at head coach Michel Therrien, saying that his defensive system does not work and questioning if he is the right coach to lead the Habs to a Stanley Cup.

Jonathan Willis of Sportsnet painted a very negative picture of the past season, writing that the Canadiens would have been in a lot of trouble had it not been for the tremendous play of goaltender Carey Price. He broke down all the other areas of the game in which the Canadiens failed.

Willis finished his attack of Therien by saying that it will be easier for the Canadiens to win the Stanley Cup with a different coach behind the bench.
